Japan Giant Sinkhole Fixed in Just 2 Days!

Last week, Japan's busy district road in Fukuoka caved in and left a massive sinkhole. It was surprising enough to happen in Japan, but Japan surprised us more on what they did in just two days!

The Fukuoka sinkhole was 30 meters wide and 15 meters deep. That's five lanes being swallowed down. The wide gaping hole threatened to collapse the nearby buildings. The sinkhole had exposed their massive support columns.

It was said that the nearby subway construction caused the sinkhole.

Japan is known to issue an apology to its citizen for any legislative or service mishap. After an earnest apology to the citizens, the city of Fukuoka got their men to work around the clock to fix the mess.

In just two days, you can hardly tell that there was once a giant hole in that street.

According to the Mayor of Fukuoka Soichiro Takashima that the street is 30 times stronger now.

Japan has got the world watching in awe. It's an impressive feat typical of Japan! The country is known for its impressive and efficient infrastructure repairs.

Meanwhile in the Philippines, a simple 8-meter wide road can be left unfixed for the entire six years before another administration can take office.

The people of the Philippines is perpetually plagued with incompetent and corrupt government officials who knew nothing about high standard of values in public service.

In the President Rodrigo Duterte administration, there is hope that this will change.
