Picnic by the Parola Lighthouse

Weekends become memorable if spent with people who matter. Last weekend was no exception. When most people were going out of town to pay respect to their departed loved ones, the gang, comprised of April, VJ, JK and I, decided to celebrate life and togetherness instead in Parola, which is standing mighty in Liloan's Bagacay Point.

We rested under the shade of one of the trees in the area, laid our picnic mat and prepared a sumptuous breakfast for the four of us. We had omelette, bacon, hotdogs and longganiza. We also had our traditional pan de sal and puto maya, plus hot coffee and cold drinks to complete our picnic day.

It was simple but made up one of those special moments when fun conversations and inside jokes run the scene and when all of these happened in a beautiful, new territory.

We also brought our furry baby Misty who has been taking the adventures with us since day one, and with Timmy the mixed spaniel, who is a new addition to our family.

Ray and Evz had engagements on their own for that they so they weren't able to be with us. Marmie, on the other hand, is currently enjoying her Penang adventures in Malaysia. Mind you guys - with pay.

The highlight of the picnic was April's "7 8 (ate) 9" joke; Misty's goat chase, and the Pandas-chasing storm. Like always, Pandas have their way of making fun an understatement. It must be FUNdemonium, better yet, PANDAmonium. Yeah! Oh we love puns! That's PUNdemonium. Haha!
